This is an excellent entry from 2011 National Geographic Global Photo Contest China region, shot by photographer Du Yuansen. It shows autumn scenery of deep mountains in China: warm red dry grass in foreground, simple traditional wooden cabin and old log fence in midground, red rock cliffs and dense coniferous forest in background, presenting quiet primitive wild natural vibe.
