Dunhuang Mingsha Mountain Desert Camel Caravan Scenery

This is an excellent entry of 2011 National Geographic Global Photo Contest China region, shot by photographer Yang Yongming at Mingsha Mountain, Dunhuang, Gansu. Undulating golden sand dunes form beautiful light and shadow curves, long camel caravans with tourists wind along sand ridges, showing the grand vast charm of northwest China desert, presenting classic scene along the ancient Silk Road.
