This is an excellent entry from 2010 National Geographic Global Photo Contest China region, shot by photographer Li Ming. It shows after winter snow, withered lotus stems in the pond are topped with thick snow. Calm water clearly reflects the outline of snow and stems, soft warm brown tone from blurred building reflection creates quiet peaceful oriental zen atmosphere, fully presenting the unique beauty of winter residual lotus.
