This is an excellent entry from 2011 National Geographic Global Photo Contest China Division, shot by photographer Wang Xin. It focuses on a tiny jumping spider resting on bright red petal, clearly showing its iconic large black compound eyes and translucent striped legs. The warm blurred red-orange background perfectly presents the vivid charm of the tiny creature in micro world.
