This is an excellent entry from the 2011 National Geographic Global Photography Contest China Division, taken by photographer Meng Zhi. The red cables and white guardrail of the modern suspension bridge stretch into thick pale blue morning fog, with the far end of the bridge disappearing completely in the mist, creating a quiet, ethereal and surreal atmosphere.
