This is the 6th work of the War Art series created by Russian military theme painter Averyanov Alexander, a realistic historical oil painting depicting the fierce battle charge scene during the Napoleonic Wars. The foreground is full of fallen soldiers and scattered weapons, smoke drifts across the battlefield, neat line infantry on the right is advancing, the general on horseback in the center leads the cavalry to charge, the battle line stretches to the horizon in the distance. It perfectly restores the grand solemn atmosphere of large-scale modern battles, and is a classic classical military art piece.
