This is the 4th work of the War Art series created by painter Averyanov Alexander, a classic historical military oil painting depicting the fierce urban battle during the Napoleonic Wars. Infantry phalanxes charge forward with bayoneted rifles, smoke billows across the battlefield, the ancient European fortress in the background is on fire, drums, weapons and fallen soldiers scatter on the ground, fully presenting the cruelty and grandeur of modern European wars.
