This is the classic landscape of the famous Big Buddha Temple landmark in Koh Samui, Thailand. Shot from the upward perspective along the steps, the giant gilded Sakyamuni sitting Buddha at the top of the picture has extremely strong visual impact. Both sides of the main steps leading to the Buddha are decorated with iconic Thai Buddhist Naga mythical creature handrails, with red-roofed Thai temple buildings on both sides, clear blue sky and fluffy white clouds in the background. It is the most famous Buddhist tourist attraction in Koh Samui, full of strong Theravada Buddhist cultural characteristics and tropical style.
