This is an aerial landscape photography work by National Geographic, shot in the fjord reserve of New Zealand's South Island. Rolling mountains are fully covered by dense temperate primeval forest. The winding braided river system flows through colorful wetland mudflats, forming unique natural textures, and finally empties into the deep blue alpine lake. Staggered light and shadow show the unpolished vigorous vitality, grandeur and tranquility of the original wilderness.
