Low Angle Shot Of Golden Autumn Populus Euphratica Under Blue Sky

This is an excellent entry from 2011 National Geographic Global Photo Contest China region, shot by Du Yuansen. The low-angle shot captures the vigorous ancient populus euphratica in northwest China desert. The rough cracked trunk, bright golden autumn leaves and cloudless blue sky fully show the tough vitality of desert poplar, presenting unique magnificent autumn scenery of northwest China.
