This is the landscape of Jerash, the famous Greco-Roman ancient city site in Jordan. The straight stone main road is flanked by continuous Corinthian columns, which are the remains of the core colonnaded street of the ancient Roman city. Under the clear blue sky dotted with white clouds, green grass grows in road gaps and around stone pillars. A few tourists walk on the thousand-year-old ancient road. Jerash is one of the best-preserved Greco-Roman city ruins, a world-famous cultural heritage tourist destination.
