This is a typical traditional Japanese zen garden landscape. The ground forms a unique checkerboard pattern with light gray square stones and plots covered with moss of different colors. Neatly trimmed spherical shrubs dotted with azaleas are arranged behind, backed by dense green woods. The whole scene is quiet, peaceful, full of unique wabi-sabi zen feeling of Japanese courtyards, very healing.
