This is an excellent work from the 2011 National Geographic Global Photography Contest China Region, shot at the alpine pasture in Altay, Xinjiang. The clear small puddle in the foreground reflects spruce trees and two grazing horses. Behind it are lush green meadows, dense cold temperate spruce forests, and distant mountains wrapped in soft white fog, presenting the peaceful and healing original natural scenery of northern Xinjiang.
