This is an entry from the 2012 National Geographic Photography Contest China Division, shot by photographer Guo Chun. Using long exposure technique, it captures stunning concentric star trails formed as stars rotate around the North Star in the northern hemisphere night sky. Colorful camping tents are arranged on the mountain ground with scattered residual snow.
