This polar landscape photo was taken at Edward VIII Bay on Kemp Coast, Antarctica. Plenty of flat broken fast ice scatter on the dark blue Antarctic sea, their edges dyed warm golden by the midnight sun. The distant skyline glows with soft pink-purple gradient light, and a huge tabular iceberg stands on the right. Dark clouds indicate an upcoming storm. Located inside the Antarctic Circle, the midnight sun never fully sets during polar day, casting unique cold soft light on the ice field. It shows the original wild beauty of Antarctica.
