This is a close-up of the partition door in Beijing Forbidden City. The door is painted vermilion red with dark green gilded frames. The upper part has traditional geometric lattice windows decorated with golden rivets, while the lower part is inlaid with exquisite high-relief gilded five-claw dragon patterns surrounded by auspicious clouds. It is a typical decoration of Ming and Qing imperial architecture, showing the superb craftsmanship and solemn luxury of ancient Chinese royal buildings.
