Autumn Red Meadow Tibetan Residence China Landscape

This is an excellent work from the 2011 National Geographic Global Photography Contest China Region, photographed by Hu Jinsong. The foreground is a vast meadow covered with bright red stellera chamaejasme, with a typical white Tibetan residence standing in the midground. Heavy dark clouds fill the sky, creating a desolate and grand autumn atmosphere unique to the plateau.
